BEAR BELLY CHICKEN
2lbs boneless skinless chicken
       breasts or thighs
1/8c worchestershire sauce
1/4c BEAR RUB ORIGINAL RED SEASONING

Place chicken in a 1 gallon freezer bag,
add worchestershire sauce and
seasoning let marinate in the fridge
for at least 1 hour. Place chicken on a
pre-heated grill over direct medium
heat for 7 minutes per side. Then try
not to drool as You eat it. Great with
baked beans AND BEAR RUB SWEET BREAD

BEAR BELLY TRI-TIP

Generously rub BEAR RUB STEAK SEASONING
over a 2 to 3lb tri-tip roast. For maximum
flavor it's best to let it sit in the fridge
over night.
Set up grill for indirect heat. Sear the
Tri-Tip for 2-3 minutes per side over direct
high heat. Then move the Tri-tip to cook
over indirect medium heat for 45 minutes to
an hour (until desired doneness is
reached.) Great with BEAR RUB SWEET BREAD,
grilled corn on the cob and an ice cold
beer!

Helpful Hints - Storing Spices

Spices and herbs contain aromatic substances called
"essential oils", which are responsible for the aroma and
much of the flavor.  Most spices and herbs are available in
ground and whole form.

Spices and herbs should be kept in tightly closed containers
in a cool, dry, dark place.  Check ground spices for
freshness at least once a year.  If no aroma is detected, the
seasoning needs to be replaced.

1.  Keep them away from heat. Do not store near dishwasher
or refrigerator, and they should never be stored near the
range, even though it may seem more convenient.  Heat, air,
and light cause aromatic oils to evaporate, which causes
spices and herbs to lose their flavor.

2. Store away from moisture as dampness will cause *caking
and loss of quality. If you live in a high humidity area you
may experience difficulty with *caking.

3. Store in cool place away from light.  Do not store in a
window or in sunlight.  Spice racks are nice, but not the best
way to store your spices.

*Because Bear Rub Barbecue Seasoning uses no artificial
ingredients like silicone dioxide, you may notice a small
amount of "caking" when you empty your bottle. This does
not effect the quality or flavor of the seasoning. Just
further proof that Bear Rub is as natural as they come!
BEAR RUB SWEET BREAD
Ok, this one is easy!  take one loaf of your
favorite bread, I prefer fresh sweet
french bread from my local grocery
store, but my wife's favorite is sourdough,
so take your pick. Cut the loaf in half
length wise, generously add butter or
margarine. Sprinkle with BEAR RUB ORIGINAL
SEASONING. Place both halves together and
wrap in foil. Place on a hot grill over
direct medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes
turning once. Slice and serve with your
favorite BBQ dishes!

WARNING: SUDDEN CRAVINGS FOR THIS BREAD IS
A COMMON SIDE EFFECT!
